March 3 - Irish Derby (Hearts) by Ruth

Tat three of the joined hearts from the Feb 28th pattern.

Chain 25 + join to the dimple of the previous heart

Chain 25 - 4 + join to the dimple of the center heart

Chain 4 + 25 + join to previous picot and to the dimple of the other heart

Chain 25 + join at the base of the first heart (see photo)

Chain 8 - 1 - 1 - 8

Tie ends at the base of the third heart. Hide the ends and trim off

If you tat this with green thread it will look like a green derby hat with hearts for the hatband
