Repeat from * to * 5 more times. (You now have 7 completed rings followed by chains.)
R 3+ (join to last ring) 3+ (join to middle picot of first ring) 3+ (join to remaining free picot of first ring), 3, cl, rw.
Ch 2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2 (7 picots), attach to base of first ring.
Tie and deal with the ends as you choose.
