The spirals need to be nice and tight. Push the ds together while pulling the core thread tightly every 4 or 5 stitches and shape the spiral as you tat.
Instructions:
Spiral 1
Chain (40 – 40)
Spiral 2
Chain (40 + 40)
Join to spiral 1 as shown. After tatting the remaining DS, tie carrying threads together in a square knot at the point of the heart. Finally tie all four threads in an overhand knot to form a small tassel and glue to a card. This heart needs to be sewn down or glued to something so it will hold its shape.
