The heart is made in 2 parts, as you can see in the diagram. The technique that is used is daisy picot technique and the pearl tatting. In the diagram you see 2 flowers in the top. In those flowers the green line is Shuttle 1 and the red line is shuttle 2. In the flowers the red leaves are the daisy picots.

Instructions:

Sh1 R: 1-1 (4dds-2dds-2dds-2dds-2dds-4dds), repeat this 4 times, 1-1 Cl. RW.
Ch: 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 +(third p daisy p) – 5-5-5 +(third p next daisy p) repeat this on 2 more daisy picots. Chain goes on:
Ch: - 5 – 5 – 5 RW
R: 5 + (third p last daisy picot leaf )5 – 5 - 5 Cl. RW
Ch: 5-5 RW
R: 5 + (last p last R) 5 – 5 – 5 Cl.
Cut and tie.
This is the first part.

The second part is as follows:

Make the flower just as in the first part. When the ring is closed, don’t reverse work but make a SLT and start the chain , this time it goes in the other way,
take care the start is: 5 – 5 – 5 + (third p first chain first part).
At the end of the chain you go on :
Ch 5-5 RW R: 5 – 5 + (p last R and last R first part)5 – 5 Cl. RW.
SS R: 2 – 2 Cl. Ch 5 – 5 + base of last ring first part

Cut and tie.
