Four hole button, 7/16 inch, less the 1/2”. About the size of a mans
shirt button.
Size 8 thread

Joins to button are made by pulling loop of thread through button hole
with crochet hook, front to back, put shuttle through the loop, Pull
taught, upwards, so that the rings “sit” on the edge of the button.

All rings are closed and no space is left between rings or joins to
button.

Wind 3 yard on shuttle. Cut from ball. Leave about 5 inch tail before
starting the first ring.
Instructions:
R 8-4-4 join to first button hole.(Holding first ring securely in place
so it “sits” on button edge.
R 4+LPPR 4-4-4 Join in same button hole.
R 4+LPPR 4-4-4 Join in next button hole.
R 4+LPPR 4-4-4 Join in same button hole.
R 4+LPPR 4-4-4
R 4+LPPR 4-4-4 Join in next button hole
R 4+LPPR 4-4-4 Join in same button hole.
R 4+LPPR 4-4-4 Join in next button hole
R 4+LPPR 4-4-4 Join in same button hole.
R 4+LPPR 4-8

Cut about 5 inches.
Secure this end to back of button near the button holes, using crochet
hook or tapestry needle.
Secure the starting end that you left long in the same manner. Now tie
and but leaving about 1/8 inch.

Place small about of glue to back of button and threads, secure Tac Pin
to glue. Let dry 24 hours before wearing.
