January 24 - Star Center Snowflake from Riet

Riet says this can be tatted without the little star in the center, just tatting, but it is so pretty this way. We're going to try to find a source for the little stars!


Two shuttles CTM and one star

Instructions:
Round one is the same as previous snowflake from Riet

Round 2:
Ch 6-6-2-2-2-2
SCMR [ Ch 2-2-2-2-2 SS R 2-2-2 --- 2-2-2 cl SS Ch 2-2-2-2-2 ]

RW make ring with cord shuttle R 2-2-2-2-2+ ( make a long join to start of Starpoint )
2-2-2+( make a long join to start of next Starpoint ) 2-2-2-2-2 cl

Ch 2-2-2-2-6-6 join on same picot on top of starpoint as last join

Do this five times more and make a join to the past picot of former starpoint

Instead of a picot after the first 6 ds, make a join in the last point
Instead of the last picot, join on the first picot of the first starpoint
